As per reports, the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police Services has issued a caution against potential disruptions in the Jakarta and West Java area, due to the following planned protests/rallies, as of Tuesday (02 September):

• At 1000 hours (WIB), near Silang Selatan Monas Selatan, Central Jakarta. Around 100 people from Komunitas Ojek Online Mahasiswa Indonesia/ KOMI (Online Motorcycle Taxi Community for Indonesian Students) will stage a demonstration with the demand: “Respond to the repressive actions of Brimob officers against online motorcycle taxi drivers.”
• At 1300 hours (WIB), near Silang Selatan Monas, Central Jakarta. Around 200 people from Forum Ketua DPW Partai Berkarya will stage a demonstration with the demand: “Administrative malpractice committed by the Ministry of Law related to delays in the ratification process of the results of the Partai Berkarya National Congress I leadership.”
• At 1400 hours (WIB) at Silang Selatan Monas – Mako Brimob Kwitang (Senen) – Central Jakarta Police Headquarters (Kemayoran) – Military District Command 0501 (Kemayoran). Around 300 people from Aliansi Taktis Aksi 177 URC Bergerak will stage a peaceful action and convoy with the demand: “Ojol action spreading a million roses of kindness for the TNI, POLRI, and the people.”
