The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Traffic East, Bengaluru, has issued a traffic advisory for Surana Ganesha idol immersion on Sunday (31 August).

The immersion will take place at Halasuru Lake Kalyani under the jurisdiction of Pulakeshinagar and Shivajinagar Traffic Police Stations, where more than 100 Ganesha idols will be immersed, the following traffic arrangements will be enforced to ensure smooth vehicular movement. The restrictions will remain in effect from 1200 hours to 0000 hours on the mentioned date.

• Traffic Restrictions:

Movement of all types of vehicles towards Seppings Road, Narayana Pillai Street, Kamaraj Road, Memorial Street, St. John’s Road, and Shivan Chetty Garden Road from St. John’s Church Road will be restricted.

Traffic from Infantry Road and Safina Plaza Junction towards Frazer Town via Dickenson Junction will be temporarily prohibited.

Traffic from KR Road and Cubbon Road Junction towards Commercial Street and Frazer Town will be restricted for all types of vehicles.
• Alternative Routes:

Vehicles travelling from St. John’s Church Road towards Seppings Road, Thimmaiah Road, Narayana Pillai Street, Kamaraj Road, and Shivan Shetty Garden Road may use alternative routes via St. John’s Church Road, Haines Junction, and Bamboo Bazaar Junction.

Vehicles from Infantry Road and Safina Plaza Junction towards Pulakeshinagar via Dickenson Junction may take an alternative route via Cubbon Road, Manipal Center, Halasuru, and Dickenson Road.

Vehicles from KR Road and Cubbon Road Junction towards Commercial Street and Pulakeshinagar may use the alternative route via Cubbon Road, Manipal Center, Halasuru, and Dickenson Road.
