As per reports, the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and its Blue Alliance partners have scheduled a Presidential Campaign Mega Rally on Saturday (30 August), at Chilima Mpunga Ground in Mtandire, Lilongwe.

• The event will be headed by President Arthur Peter Mutharika, the DPP’s presidential candidate, alongside running mate Dr. Jane Ansah and second vice-presidential candidate Enock Chihana.
• Thousands of supporters are expected to attend, with the rally positioned as a show of unity and electoral strength in the Central Region ahead of the 16 September polls.
