The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) has issued a weather forecast for parts of Nepal on Wednesday (20 August). Following this, generally cloudy conditions and the possibility of moderate rainfall are expected in Lumbini Province, Karnali Province, and Sudurpashchim Province, along with the hilly regions and at one or two places in the Terai regions of the rest of the country.

In addition, generally cloudy conditions and a possibility of moderate rainfall at a few places remain in the Terai and hilly regions of Madhesh Province, Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, and Gandaki Province, and at one or two places in the rest of the country. While the possibility of heavy rainfall at one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi Province and Gandaki Province is also expected.
