As per reports, a wildfire was reported in Jardins Mangueiral, São Sebastião, located near the access road to Papuda, at approximately 1237 hours (local time) on Sunday (17 August).

• The rapid spread of flames generated a dense smoke plume visible across the region.
• The Federal District Military Fire Department (CBMDF) deployed four vehicles and a Nimbus aircraft to combat the blaze.
• CBMDF personnel remain on-site to manage and extinguish the fire.
• No injuries have been reported in connection with this incident as of 2147 hours (local time) on Sunday (17 August).
