As per reports, fireworks malfunctioned at a community fair called the Jimboomba Family Carnival, located at Jimboomba in Queensland on Sunday (10 August) night.

• The mishap sent explosives into patrons at the Jimboomba Family Carnival, leading to children being struck by shrapnel and a man suffering burns to his leg.
• Resultantly, the carnival has stated that the fireworks show scheduled for Monday (11 August) night has been cancelled.
• Meanwhile, an investigation is under way by Resources Safety and Health Queensland.
