The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm warning, forecasting heavy rainfall and strong winds with lightning, over parts of Selangor, Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, and Johor, effective until 0900 hours (local time) on Thursday (07 August).

The affected regions include:

• Selangor: Kuala Langat and Sepang.
• Negeri Sembilan: Seremban, Port Dickson, and Rembau.
• Johor: Tangkak and Muar.
