NWS issued heat advisory for parts of Massachusetts on Monday (28 July) and Tuesday (29 July)

As per reports, the National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Heat Advisory for a broad region encompassing Eastern and Central Massachusetts, effective from 1100 hours (local time) on Monday (28 July) until 2000 hours (local time) on Tuesday (29 July).

• Heat index values are projected to range between 95 degrees Fahrenheit and 102 degrees Fahrenheit during this period, with the highest values anticipated on Tuesday (29 July).
• The advisory specifically covers northern Worcester, southern Worcester, Franklin, Middlesex, Essex, Hampshire, Hampden, Norfolk, Suffolk, Bristol, and Plymouth counties.
