As per reports, a hoax bomb threat was received by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) and Jaipur airport, warning that both places would be blown up within one to two hours on Saturday (26 July), prompting immediate action from security forces.
• In response, security agencies reportedly launched extensive search operations at the CMO and Jaipur International Airport.
• The anti-bomb squad, police, fire brigade, and civil defense teams were promptly deployed at the affected areas, while additional police personnel also arrived at the State Secretariat to strengthen security.
• The bomb detection and disposal squads reportedly carried out a room-to-room search at the CMO, while parallel operations also continued at the airport.
• Sniffer dogs and CCTV reviews were also deployed across the airport terminal and surrounding areas. The limited number of officers and staff present at the CMO were also immediately evacuated from the area, while search operations lasted for over an hour at both premises.
• No suspicious object was recovered from either location, and authorities confirmed the threat to be a hoax.
