As per reports, a wildfire was reported in Grand Forks at around 1600 hours local time on Thursday (24 July). The fire is burning near a green space along the Kettle River, across Highway number three from several rural residences.

• Highway number three has been closed in both directions due to the wildfire.
• Drivers can detour around the closure using Canning and Reservoir roads.
• A helicopter, a four-person initial attack crew, and a wildfire officer are assisting the local fire department in tackling the wildfire.
• No structures have been threatened as last reported.
