As per reports, the next meeting of the Morocco–EU Joint Parliamentary Committee is scheduled to be held in Rabat by the end of October. The announcement was made by the Committee’s Co-Chairs on Monday (14 July), although the official date and exact location have not yet been confirmed.
• The meeting is considered timely as it will follow soon after the launch of the new EU Pact for the Mediterranean.
• Key topics expected to be addressed include sustainable development, energy, investment, regional security, migration, and environmental concerns.
