As per reports, a five-day heatwave is forecast for London and southern England, commencing on Thursday (10 July).

• Temperatures are projected to reach 31 degrees Celsius on Thursday (10 July), rising to 32 degrees Celsius on Friday (11 July), and averaging 30 degrees Celsius over the weekend, with 29 degrees Celsius expected on Monday (14 July).
• The UK Health and Security Agency has issued yellow health alerts for England until Tuesday (15 July).
