As per reports, mandatory evacuation orders have been issued in Leaf Rapids, Manitoba, due to an escalating wildfire threat in the vicinity on Monday (07 July)

• All residents were instructed to depart from the area by 1000 hours (local time) on Monday (07 July).
• A reception center has been established in at 770 Leila Avenue in Winnipeg for evacuees requiring accommodation.
• The nearby city of Thompson is also experiencing wildfire threats and is not available as an evacuation alternative.
