As per reports, a 24-hour national general strike has been called for Friday (20 June) by three major trade unions in Italy: the Confederazione Unitaria di Base Trasporti (CUB Trasporti), Sindacato Generale di Base (SGB), and Unione Sindacale di Base – Lavoro Privato (USB Lavoro Privato).

• As a result of this industrial action, widespread disruptions and cancellations are expected across Italy’s public transportation network, particularly affecting urban and extra-urban bus services.
• While the strike is planned for the entire day, limited services will operate during two guaranteed time slots. For urban services and the Happy Bus, morning departures will run from 0530 hours to 0830 hours (local time) on Friday (20 June), and midday services from 1210 hours to 1440 hours (local time) on Friday (20 June). For extra-urban services and the ProntoBus Extra, the guaranteed slots will be from 0530 hours to 0845 hours (local time) on Friday (20 June) in the morning and from 1210 hours to 1455 hours (local time) on Friday (20 June.
