According to MetService, New Zealand, parts of the country will experience heavy snowfall on Thursday (06 June). An orange alert has been issued for the inner parts of the Canterbury region. Yellow alerts have been issued for Marlborough, Canterbury, Central Otago, and Queenstown-Lakes District.
