As per reports, train services on Västkustbanan and Viskadalsbanan will be suspended between Monday (09 June) and 13 July.

• The construction of the Varberg Tunnel is in its final phase, necessitating a total stoppage of trains on parts of the West Coast Line and the Viskadals Line in Halland for five weeks.
• From Monday (09 June) to 06 July, services will be suspended on Falkenberg – Gothenburg (West Coast Line).
• From Monday (09 June) to 22 June, services will be suspended on Varberg – Veddige (Viskadalsbanan).
• From 23 June to 13 July, services will be suspended on Varberg – Borås (Viskadalsbanan).
• From 07 July to 13 July, services will be suspended on Falkenberg – Kungsbacka Hede Station (West Coast Line).
• On 14 July, the Varberg Tunnel will be inaugurated and train traffic on the entire West Coast Line will reopen.
