As per reports, agents of the City of Paris contact centre, responsible for operating the 3975 hotline, have scheduled a strike on Monday (02 June) and Tuesday (03 June).
• The 3975 line serves as the primary public information interface for Paris residents, covering services related to civil status, leisure, social benefits, and other municipal matters. The strike has been called by the inter-union representing the workers, citing deteriorating working conditions, chronic understaffing, and intense work-related stress.
• The contact centre, composed of fewer than 80 employees, has been flagged for high levels of fatigue and burnout.
• The planned strike is scheduled to coincide with the Paris Council meeting on Tuesday (03 June), where striking employees intend to gather at both entrances of City Hall (4th arrondissement) to urge municipal officials to address their grievances.
