As per reports, multiple districts and Thu Duc City in Ho Chi Minh City have experienced continuous thunderstorms and rainfall on Sunday (25 May).

• Over the past 12 hours, areas including Districts 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 11, and Binh Thanh have reported recurring thunderstorms, with some locations experiencing torrential rainfall.
• As of 1220 hours, the Southern and Central Highlands Hydrometeorological Station reported ongoing thunderstorms with lightning in Can Gio, Binh Chanh, Districts 6, 7, Binh Thanh, and Thu Duc City.
• The current weather conditions are attributed to a low-pressure trough oriented northwest-southeast across the South Central and Southern regions, active at both low and high atmospheric levels.
• Thunderstorms are expected to continue through the afternoon, expanding to additional areas such as the central district, Nha Be, Hoc Mon, Cu Chi, Binh Tan, Go Vap, and District 12.
• Rainfall amounts are forecast to range between 5–20 millimeters, with some areas possibly exceeding 25 millimeters.
