As per reports, the General Electricity Company (CGE) has announced scheduled power outages across multiple sectors in Linares, San Clemente, and Maule on Tuesday (20 May) due to planned improvement works. The outages are expected to last up to six hours in affected areas.

• In Linares, power interruptions will occur in two phases. The first phase from 0900 hours to 1100 hours (local time) will affect the Chupallas and Yerbas Buenas sectors, while the second phase from 1130 hours to 1700 hours (local time) will impact the Fabián Egeo and John Cristal sectors.
• In San Clemente, the outage is scheduled from 1000 hours to 1600 hours (local time), affecting the Route 115-CH and La Estrella Sur sectors.
• Maule will experience power cuts from 1030 hours to 1630 hours (local time) in the Las Mercedes, Suao, and Camino Ruta K-499 areas.
• Additionally, CGE has scheduled another power outage in Talca on Thursday (22 May), though specific details regarding timing and affected sectors have not yet been disclosed.
