According to reports, several areas of Vijayawada experienced waterlogging after heavy rainfall impacted parts of the city on Sunday morning (04 May).

• Roads in Mogalrajapuram and Patamata areas of Vijayawada East constituency were flooded. Similarly, heavy rainfall also impacted Chittinagar, Penamalur and Gannavaram.
• Additionally, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for thunderstorm, lightning and squall with strong surface winds for the entire state till Thursday (08 May).
