As per reports, the Supreme Committee for Epidemics in Baghdad announced a decision on Tuesday (29 April) to ban livestock from entering the capital 14 days before Eid al-Adha as a preventive measure against the spread of hemorrhagic fever.

The decision is part of efforts to reduce the risk of transmission of the disease during the upcoming holiday period.
