As per reports, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine received a report of a large-scale fire in the Balakliya forestry near the town of Balakliya in the Izyum district of the Kharkiv region at 1151 hours (local time) on Saturday (19 April).
• Additionally, efforts to contain the blaze are continued as reported on Sunday (20 April), with 66 personnel from the State Emergency Service (SES) and 16 firefighting units actively deployed.
• Local fire brigades from the villages of Andriivka, Donets, and Petrivske are also assisting, along with forestry workers and their equipment.
• In addition, SES sappers are on-site to clear and secure movement routes for firefighting vehicles by checking for possible explosive remnants in the area.
• No reports of casualties have been made.
