As per reports, a serious traffic accident occurred on Alstätter Strasse, just over the border near Enschede, involving a motor vehicle and a horse-drawn carriage on Friday (18 April).

• Four individuals sustained injuries in the incident. The two individuals riding the carriage were seriously injured, while the car driver and one passenger were also taken to hospital for treatment.
• The roadway is reported to be closed for investigation.
