According to reports, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has stated that the cabinet meeting convened on Thursday (17 April) will exclusively discuss the report submitted by the Karnataka State Commission for Backward Classes and take a final decision on it.

CM Siddaramaiah also stated that the report is a socio-economic survey and not a caste census.
