As per reports, a winter storm warning is in effect for the southern portions of the Interstate 25 corridor in Colorado starting at 1800 hours (local time) on Friday (04 April) evening and lasting until 1500 hours (local time) on Saturday (05 April) due to heavy snow and breezy conditions.

• Eastern Las Animas is under a winter weather advisory, effective from 1800 hours (local time) on Friday (04 April) evening until 1500 hours (local time) on Saturday (05 April) , with moderate snow and windy conditions expected.
• Snowfall is anticipated across all of southern Colorado Friday (04 April), with temperatures reaching lows in the 20s along the Interstate 25 corridor and Eastern Plains. The high country will experience temperatures in the single digits to teens.
• Snowfall will continue into Saturday (05 April) morning but will gradually decrease throughout the day, with dry conditions expected by the afternoon to evening. Isolated snow may linger in the high country, clearing by evening.
