As per reports, the Jerusalem Marathon is set to take place on Friday (04 April), with tens of thousands of participants from across the country and internationally. The city has announced traffic arrangements and road closures for the event.

• Several streets, including Ben-Zvi and Ruppin boulevards, will be closed from 0300 hours (local time) through 1400 hours (local time). Additional closures will take effect on multiple roads along the marathon route, including Hebrew University Campus, King George Street, and Agron Street, among others.
• Parking restrictions have been enforced along Ben-Zvi and Mevaker Hamedina streets until the event concludes. Vehicles parked along the marathon route will not be able to exit until the roads are reopened.
• Public transportation services will be adjusted, with additional train services between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem – Yitzhak Navon. The light rail will operate in two separate sections, and alternative bus routes will be available for affected areas.
• A free shuttle service will operate from 0500 hours through 1300 hours (local time) for marathon participants, transporting them between Teddy Stadium and Sacher Park. Main roads such as Uzi Narkiss Blvd, Highway 9, and Golda Meir Blvd will remain open for access during the event.
