As per reports, Sikh organisations will stage a protest against the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) over the sacking of ‘Takht Jathedars’ (leaders of Sikh religious authorities) on Friday (28 March), coinciding with the SGPC’s annual body meeting.

Activists of the Damdami Taksal (Sikh seminary), members of the Sant Samaj and the Nihang Sikh community will take out the protest march from the Golden Gate to the SGPC head office.
