As per reports, train traffic on the RER D was completely halted between Paris Gare du Nord and Paris Gare de Lyon, while the RER B experienced a full suspension between Gare du Nord and Châtelet-les-Halles due to a signaling system failure on Tuesday (25 March) morning.
• Technical teams worked to restore operations, with RER B services resuming at approximately 1000 hours (local time) and RER D seeing partial improvements. However, disruptions persisted throughout the morning.
• Passengers were advised to take alternative metro routes, with expected travel delays of up to 45 minutes. Additional train cancellations and schedule adjustments were also reported.
• Delays and disruptions extended beyond the immediate city center, affecting routes between Orry-la-Ville and Paris Nord, as well as Paris Gare de Lyon to Melun and Corbeil-Essonnes.
