As per reports, a fire broke out at a residential location in Akebono, Ami-machi, Ibaraki Prefecture at around 1720 hours, on Thursday (20 March). Two deaths have been reported in the incident.

The officials at the Ibaraki Prefectural Police Ushiku Station has stated that the fire was put out about two and a half hours later.
