As per reports, a number of roads in West Texas are being shut down by the Texas Department of Transportation due to major dust storms on Tuesday (04 March). US Highways 67 and 349 west of Big Lake have reportedly had portions of the road shut down, while US Highway 285 was shut down outside of Pecos due to a multi-vehicle crash.
A blowing dust advisory was issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) at 1103 hours (local time) until 1800 hours (local time) on Tuesday (04 March) for Coke, Crockett, Fisher, Irion, Nolan, Schleicher, Sterling, and Tom Green counties.
