As per reports, multiple search crews in Alaska still continue efforts to locate a Cessna aircraft as of Friday (07 February) that went missing mid-flight on Thursday (06 February).

• According to the Alaskan State Troopers, the plane, operated by Bering Air, was travelling from Unalakleet to Nome with 10 individuals on board. Ground and air search operations are underway as weather conditions and visibility allow.
• Bering Air’s Director of Operations, David Olson, confirmed that the company is actively coordinating emergency assistance and search and rescue operations. The US Coast Guard reported that the aircraft disappeared approximately 12 miles offshore over Norton Sound, an inlet that separates Unalakleet and Nome in western Alaska.
• A National Guard C-130 reported it found nothing found so far. The Air Force also sent a C-130 to resume the search and also reported no visuals, and have one hour of flight search time remaining, according to an update early Friday (07 February) morning.
