As per reports, emergency services are responding to a fire in a Central Otago building on Thursday (06 February). Fire and Emergency NZ stated that it received a call about a fire at the Roxburgh Town Hall around 1148 hours (local time).

Police cordons were set up to divert the public away from the burning building.
