As per reports, garment workers from Anwara Dress Makers Limited and Frank Apparels Limited factories have been protesting since Monday (03 January) morning. They blocked Bayezid Bostami Road in Chittagong, demanding arrears of wages since November 2024. Hundreds of protesters have gathered and to control the situation, local police and army personnel have also been deployed.
