As per reports, a KLM Boeing 737 made an emergency landing at Sandefjord Torp Airport on Saturday (28 December) evening, disrupting operations and impacting approximately 5,000 passengers.
• The airport remained closed until at least 1800 hours local time on Sunday (29 December) as authorities worked to clear the runway.
• The emergency landing was prompted by a loud noise, though none of the 182 passengers aboard the aircraft sustained injuries.
• A KLM technical team, along with police and the Accident Investigation Board, coordinated efforts to remove the aircraft, a process that faced significant challenges.
