As per reports, a taxi veered onto the sidewalk at Sixth Avenue near Herald Square in Manhattan, New York, on Wednesday (25 December), injuring at least seven people.

• The accident happpened near the corner of West 34th Street and Avenue of the Americas, or Sixth Avenue.
• It was not known what led to the cab going onto the sidewalk, but sources stated that the driver may have suffered a medical episode. No charges have been filed yet.
