As per reports, a violent clash erupted between activists of the Kerala Students Union (KSU) and the Students’ Federation of India (SFI) at Thottada Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Kannur, Kerala on Wednesday (11 December) leaving several students injured.

The altercation reportedly began when SFI activists allegedly destroyed a flag hoisted by KSU members on the campus, escalating into a physical confrontation. The police intervened and resorted to lathi-charging to disperse the clashing groups.
