As per reports, the National Institute of Meteorology (INMET) issued multiple weather alerts for parts of Brazil on Thursday (05 December).

• An orange alert for heavy rainfall has been issued for parts of Mato Grosso, Amazonas, Para, Rondônia, and Goiás. Rainfall between 30 and 60 mm/h or 50 and 100 mm/day, along with strong wind gusts of up to 100 km/h, is expected.
• A yellow alert for rainfall has been issued for parts of Brazil, with rainfall between 20 and 30 mm/h or up to 50 mm/day expected. Strong wind gusts of up to 60 km/h are likely. The affected regions are Acre, Amazonas, Pará, Rondônia, Mato Grosso, Ceará, Minas Gerais, Tocantins, Rio Grande do Sul, Maranhão, Bahia, Piauí, and Goiás.
• The alerts will remain active from 1000 hours (local time) on Thursday (05 December) through 1000 hours (local time) on Friday (06 December).
