As per reports, Southern trains operating through Croydon are expected to experience significant disruptions from Monday (25 November) till Friday (29 November).
• The affected areas include Purley, Three Bridges, Haywards Heath, Hastings, Ashford International, London Victoria, Brighton, Worthing, and West Worthing.
• The work will involve line closures, train diversions, and bus replacements during overnight hours and late evening services.
• Purley to Three Bridges / Haywards Heath: From Monday (25 November) till Friday (29 November), trains are expected to run on a modified schedule, with journey times extending by approximately 15 minutes due to overnight engineering work between 2300 hours (local time) and 0530 hours (local time).
• Hastings to Ashford International: Replacement buses are reported to in service from approximately 2230 hours (local time) to the end of service, from Monday (25 November) to Thursday (28 November), resulting in longer journey times.
• London Victoria to Worthing: From Monday (25 November) to Friday (28 November), trains are expected to terminate at Brighton, and replacement buses will operate between Brighton and Worthing, affecting evening services.
• Norwood Junction to Streatham Hill: From Tuesday (26 November) to Friday (29 November), some lines will be closed during the early morning, and trains will run slightly later, with a 3-minute delay on the 0521 hours (local time) train from Norwood Junction to London Victoria.
