According to reports, emergency services responded to a truck fire on State Highway 1 near Ramarama at 1049 hours (local time) on Wednesday (20 November). No injuries from the fire have been reported to authorities.

Southbound lanes of State Highway 1, between the Great South Road on-ramp and the Ramarama off-ramp were temporarily closed, but one southbound lane had been opened through the area.
