As per reports, traffic diversions will be implemented in the Shivaji Nagar area from 11 November for a period of 30 days given ongoing metro construction work by the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL).
The construction work near Shivaji Circle and Jyothi Cafe will lead to the closure of one side of the road for all types of vehicular traffic.
• To ensure smooth traffic flow during this period, the following roads will be restricted due to the ongoing construction.
• Vehicles travelling from Balekundri to Shivajinagar BMTC Bus Stand via Shivaji Circle will not be permitted. Additionally, vehicles moving along Shivaji Road from Shivaji Circle towards Jyothi Cafe and the Shivaji Nagar BMTC Bus Stand will also face restrictions.
• For vehicles coming from Balekundri to Shivajinagar BMTC Bus Stand, drivers should take a left turn at Traffic Head Quarter Junction, continue along Infantry Road, and then take a left turn at Central Street Junction to reach the BMTC Bus Stand.
• For vehicles travelling from Shivaji Road to Shivajinagar BMTC Bus Stand, drivers should take a right turn at Shivaji Circle, proceed along Venkataswamy Naidu Road, turn left at Balekundri, then take another left turn at Traffic Head Quarter Junction, continue along Infantry Road, and make a final left turn at Central Street Junction to reach the BMTC Bus Stand.
