As per reports, the second procession of the year for the Lord of Miracles commenced at 0600 hours (local time) on Friday (18 October). This event is recognized as one of the largest religious mobilizations, attracting a significant number of participants. Significant disruptions are likely all day on Friday (18 October) in downtown Lima.
The procession will follow the designated route, which includes Tacna Avenue, Jirón Ica, Jirón de la Unión, Plaza de Armas, Carabaya Avenue, Ucayali Avenue, Abancay Avenue, Junín Avenue, Huanta Avenue, Áncash Avenue, and Manuel Pardo Avenue.
• Approximately 500 traffic agents will be deployed throughout the day to manage roadblocks and detours. Key measures include the temporary closure of stations along the Metropolitan system, including Colmena, Jirón de la Unión, Tacna, and Castilla.
• Diversions are implemented for urban transport services, including the Blue and Purple Corridors, to accommodate the movement of the procession.
