As per reports, due to the impact of heavy rainfall, soil moisture models in some areas of Lam Dong province have become nearly saturated or have reached saturation. Accordingly, flash floods are forecasted on Thursday (17 October) afternoon and evening (October 17) on small rivers and streams, along with landslides on steep slopes in the affected provinces. Areas particularly at risk include Da Lat City, Bao Loc City, Di Linh, Lam Ha, Dam Rong, Bao Lam, Da Teh, Cat Tien, and Da Huoai.

Meanwhile, it is forecasted that the region will continue to experience rainfall over the next 03-06 hours, with total precipitation expected to range from 15 to 30 mm, and in some areas, it may exceed 70 mm.
