As per reports, heavy rainfall in Bitlis on Thursday (19 September) led to disruptions, including landslides and flooding that damaged agricultural land. The adverse weather affected the Ahlat-Adilcevaz road, which was temporarily closed due to soil and mud slides. The road is now reopened.

• In Gölbaşı and Oduncular village, overflowing streams caused flooding that impacted local crops. The Gölbaşı municipality is currently engaged in cleaning the affected areas. Mayor Hikmet Kardaş reported damage to infrastructure, including roads and sewage systems.
• There have been no reported injuries or fatalities. Oduncular village head Sani Gökmen confirmed that while infrastructure was compromised, impacting water supply and sanitation, all residents remained safe.
• In response to the crisis, Disaster and Emergency Management Authority teams were dispatched to assist those stranded on the Tatvan-Ahlat road, where mud and water had accumulated, trapping several vehicles. Rescue efforts are ongoing, along with clean-up operations to restore normalcy in the affected areas.
