As per reports, a forest fire in former military training area near Jüterbog was reported on Thursday (29 August). The fire is said to be burning over an area of ​​50 hectares. The fire broke out at around 1140 hours local time for reasons that are still unknown.

The smoke is currently moving towards Teltow. Around 30 firefighters were deployed. A drone was also deployed, along with a firefighting helicopter from the Federal Police.
