As per reports, the Federation of University Teachers’ Associations of Bihar (Futab) and the Federation of University Service Teachers’ Associations of Bihar (Fustab) have called for a protest over delayed salary and pension grants on Saturday (31 August). Teachers (both working and retired) will stage a day-long protest at their colleges and university headquarters.

On 05 September, teachers will participate in Teachers’ Day functions wearing black badges to show solidarity.
