As per reports, an earthquake measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale was recorded at approximately 2030 hours (local time) on Monday (22 July), 57 kilometers south of Whites City, New Mexico.

The quake was recorded at a depth of 6.8 kilometers from the surface.
