As per reports, a fire outbreak was reported in a five-story building located in the Las Llaves area near San Fernando de Maspalomas in San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Gran Canaria on Tuesday (02 July) late in the evening.

• Staff of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), local police agents and firefighters from the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana arrived at the location to contain the fire.
• Firefighters from San Bartolomé de Tirajana successfully rescued two individuals who were trapped in the building. No casualties have been reported so far. The cause of the fire and the extent of damage are yet to be determined.
