Update on flooding and landslides in Nepal – Thursday (27 June)

According to reports, 33 districts of Nepal have been affected by disasters as of Thursday (27 June).

• Taplejung, Panchthar, Sankhuwasabha, Sindhupalchowk, Rasuwa, Chitwan, Lamjung, Parbat, Myagdi, Nawalparasi East, Gulmi, Dang, Kaski districts were affected the most.
• The Narayangadh-Muglin road section has been blocked due to a landslide at Jalbire in Ichchakamana Rural Municipality-6 in Chitwan district.
• Four people have died when a landslide buried three houses at Bagum of Kwoholasothar Rural Municipality-3 in Lamjung district.
• Relevant agencies in the districts and local units have been activated for rescue and relief works. Two injured people from Dolakha have been airlifted to Kathmandu for further treatment.
