President Vladimir Putin arrives in North Korea on Wednesday (19 June)

As per reports, Russian President Vladimir Putin is making a two-day state visit to North Korea meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un from Wednesday (19 June) to Friday (21 June).

• Reports indicate that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un personally greeted Putin at the plane ramp as he arrived in the North Korean capital of Pyongyang in the early hours of Wednesday (19 June) morning.
• President Vladimir Putin will be staying at the Kumsusan State Guest House.
• The visit will include one-on-one discussions between the two leaders, as well as a gala concert, state reception, honour guards, document signings and a statement to the media.
• After North Korea, President Vladimir Putin will visit Vietnam in the coming days.
