As per reports, more than 900 cartons with alcohol worth INR 44 lakh hidden in a vehicle resembling a cement mixer were seized in Vadodara on Tuesday (28 May). The Local Crime Branch (LCB) of Vadodara Rural Police received a tip-off that a cement concrete mixer passing through the Vadodara-Ahmedabad expressway was transporting several cartons of alcohol.

When the vehicle, bearing the brand name of a popular cement company arrived, the officials conducted a thorough check and discovered that the container was custom-made to hide liquor.
